Indwelling Presence
Our Scriptures proclaim the good news that God is always with us. All of us have a deep longing for union and communion, that our soul knows is our Creator and the source of our identity. Organized religion’s public rituals often stress the Divine Presence outside us: Eucharist, Sacraments, other people, ministry, Word spoken and listened to, nature. Carmelite spirituality has always stressed the Indwelling Presence that is constant and always and already present, who energizes all we do and are. Our prayer is communing with an unconditional intimacy freely given.
Carmelites Fr. Bob Colarest, Fr. Rob Traudt and Fr. Jack Welch will lead us in reflecting on this mysterious Divine Indwelling who is at heart of who we are and which all the other symbols point to. Besides reflections, we will celebrate Eucharist, Reconciliation and Anointing and have great meals and time of quiet reflection.
Retreat begins at 7:00 PM on Sunday and concludes with lunch on Friday.
Cost: $425.00 for single or double occupancy;$215.00 commuter rate.
