Preached Retreat: Exploring the Interior Castle

December 31, 2018 by Center

Event Phone: 630-969-4141

June 2 – June 7, 2019
June 9 – June 14, 2019

Carmelite mystic, St. Teresa of Avila, was offered a vision of the spiritual path as an interior journey.

This weeklong retreat will visit the seven mansions of one’s interior castle leading to the innermost mansion, the dwelling place of the Divine. We are not to stay on the outside. We celebrate God continually attracting us to explore this mysterious presence of grace in our souls and life.

We will explore the gift of contemplative prayer, obstacles to prayer, and the loving tether of God that draws us to our created purpose: Divine intimacy.

Retreat begins at 7:00 PM on Sunday and concludes with lunch on Friday.

Cost: $405.00 for single or double occupancy;$210.00 commuter rate.

Presenters

Fr. Bob Colaresi, O. Carm.
Fr. Jack Welch, O. Carm.
