Location:  Carmelite Spiritual Center; 8419 Bailey Road; Darien, IL (followed by Mass and Ashes at the National Shrine at 11:30 a.m.)

Ash Wednesday energizes a journey of conversion and transformation.  We respond more deeply to God’s call to intimacy.  Jerusalem has always been the symbol of God’s Presence within and among us — and to where this journey of faith is leading us:  the New Jerusalem.  “Jerusalem” means the “wholeness of God.”  Fr. Bob, having led 33 Pilgrimages to the Holy Land, will lead us through the Seven Gates of the Biblical Jerusalem and how they symbolize liminal spaces on our journey to wholeness, holiness and salvation.
