Holiness in the Everyday – A Day of Reflection
Event Phone: 630-969-4141
January 29, 2022 – 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Carmelite Spiritual Center
Join us for a Discussion: A Reflection on Pope Francis’: “Gaudete et Excultate”
The speaker, Angela Scaperlanda Bujan will use the “Call to Holiness” written by Pope Francis and Scripture to lead us. Through prayer, presentation, individual reflection, and group discussion, we will respond to this call, increasing in holiness, each in our own way.
“Saints…remind us that holiness can blossom even in our lives, however weak and marked by sin.” – Pope Francis
You may have heard it said that we are all called to be saints, but how many of us truly believe we will grow so holy that one day we will really become one? Instead of responding “Here I Am Lord”, how many are tempted to shake their heads and say, “not me Lord”? What does it mean to grow in holiness in today’s world? How can we respond to this call in our everyday lives?
This workshop includes coffee/rolls and lunch. It will be conducted by Angela Scaperlanda Bujan, MA who is a bilingual (fluency in English and Spanish) certified spiritual director, coach, facilitator, retreat leader, speaker, writer, editor and organizational consultant. As founder of Help Professional Services LLC, she seeks to help individuals/groups become who and what they are meant to be.
