Dare to be Resilient Program

Event Phone: 630-969-4141

Friday and Saturday, November 18-19, 2022 – at the Carmelite Spiritual Center

Overnight program begins 5:30 PM on Friday (includes dinner) and ends at 3:00 PM on Saturday (includes breakfast and lunch)

We have all relied on our own resilience in one way or another, especially in recent years in efforts to fend off and “bounce back” from adversity.  As we enter the holiday season — replete with joy and stress — we can learn from our experiences and grow stronger, more flexible, and better prepared to meet the next challenges presented in our ever-volatile world.

“When the soul is healthy, it is in a living relationship with God; it is firmly rooted in the soil of meaning and is the deepest center of the person.” (Bishop Robert Barron, Lenten Gospel Reflection)

You are invited to – Renew Your Resilience from the Inside Out

Together we will explore the very essence of resilience.  We will share and gain wisdom within a safe space and work on rebuilding your resilience reserve for the future.

Through group presentations, discussions, and personal reflection, you will have the opportunity to:

  • gain a deeper understanding of the true essence of resilience.
  • reflect on your “soul’s longing” within the context of your personal resilience story.
  • enhance your ability to build greater resilience from the inside out.
  • take decisive steps toward nuturing resilience within yourself and others.

This overnight program includes overnight stay, meals, a personal Resilience Insight Profile customized report, copies of session slides, and other participant information.  There will be time to explore the campus, museum, book store, and gift shop.  The speakers are Angela Scaperlanda Bujan – Bio:  https//helpps.org/about-us/ and Rob Mebane – Bio:  http://resilience.land/rod-mebane/
