Ash Wednesday: What Color Is Your Lent?

February 26, 2020, 9:30 am to 3 PM at the Carmelite Spiritual Center

Join us in this day of reflection, looking at the Lord’s call for Lent.

Lent is seen as a somber time of penance, giving up, and doing.  But at the end of this holy season, are we any different?  Are we any more alive for Christ and our mission to be the Church?

So much emphasis is placed on what we do that we forget Lent starts, not with ashes or giving up meat on Friday, but the call of God who reminds us of our true identity.

Only when we know that, can we respond to His invitation to relationship with Him and others.

This day of talks and reflection will look deeply at that invitation from the Lord and how it can create a new understanding and way to live this great season of Lent.

This day of reflection includes Mass, luncheon, and ashes.
