A Lenten Special: The Shack

The Shack Movie
Tuesday, April 9th

Morning Session: 9:00 AM-12:00 PM
Evening Session: 6:30 PM-9:30 PM

We ask for a free-will offering to defray the cost of snacks and the room.

Lent and Spring’s renewal of life call us to become freer, more whole and connected, and holier. We need wake-up calls and experiences that touch issues deep within that stifle and stagnant us.

As part of our Lenten preparation and experiences, the CSC is offering a Movie Morning and Evening, featuring THE SHACK on Tuesday, April 9th, presented in the morning and repeated in the evening for those who cannot attend the morning, we will view the powerful film THE SHACK together and then time to reflect together on what it touches in us.

Last time we did, many people asked us to do it again. It is perfect for Lent and Spring’s renewed life – especially on the challenging theme of forgiveness and freedom. It touches many issues of the human and Christian journey to holiness. Please register so that we have enough people to make these sessions work.

The movie will start promptly at 9:00 AM and 6:30 PM, followed by a discussion.

This powerful movie is the story of a father’s transformative spiritual journey – from his own abuse as a young man to a family tragedy which spirals in a crisis of faith, life’s purpose and the existence of God. Unable to move on, he receives a mysterious invitation from God as three strangers, to revisit the tragedies of his life for transformation. This touches so many powerful issues of our Christian Journey.

Please register no later than April 6th by registering for your free ticket below – please identify which session you will be attending.
