Carmelite Spiritual Center hosting a Morning Renewal open to ALL Men – sponsored by Illuman of Illinois

The idea of the Dragon is truly archetypal in nature; providing an image that draws us into the deep struggles we each face at some point in our lives.  This mini retreat will take us into a personal story of one’s journey into the mouth of the dragon.

• What is it like when in one day…one week…the rug is pulled out from beneath one’s feet?
• When one’s health diminishes, why does it seem like there is a “piling on” happening?
• What happens when you find yourself in uncharted territory, like Dante laments?

Our guides for this event are Leo Kamin and Bill McElroy from Illuman of Illinois.  They will be using ritual, personal story, drumming, and small group sharing to navigate the Lenten themes of death, life, and ultimate meaning.

This event is offered without charge, however a free will offering is encouraged.
