Like much of life, the Carmelite Spiritual Center is re-opening after a long drought.  Carmelite spirituality has always been about seeking the light amid darkness.  Car-mel means God’s Garden, and our journey is to blossom in a renewed life.

This weeklong retreat will focus on what we have learned or can learn from these isolating times.

We will reflect on:  Elijah, prophet of fire and renewed faith, ending the drought, and searching for the renewed Presence/Mystery hidden, as well as Mary, our Sister in faith, who helps us listen to life, not fight, flight, fear or freeze, but how to embrace the garden we are planted in, St. Joseph and Carmelite saints who brighten the horizon of spirituality.

Even though we hope that everyone will have been vaccinated by then, we will continue to observe mandated safety protocols, masks, and social distancing.

Retreat begins at 7:00 PM on Sunday and concludes with lunch on Friday.

Cost: $405.00 for single or double occupancy;$210.00 commuter rate.
